Joining the practice in August 2024!

Dr. Arfan Qureshi joined Principal Spine and Pain in 2024. As a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine, his approach has always been holistic in nature. He then went on to subspecialize and completed an ACGME-accredited Interventional Pain Fellowship at University of Alabama Birmingham.

Dr. Qureshi is trained to perform a number of different fluoroscopic guided interventional pain management procedures. These include, but are not limited to cervical, thoracic, lumbar epidurals, facet joint injections, sacroiliac joint injections, radiofrequency ablation, spinal cord stimulation, and other cutting-edge treatment modalities in interventional spine. His clinical interests include musculoskeletal medicine, interventional spine procedures, manual manipulation, and regenerative therapy.

Due to his accomplishments, Dr. Qureshi was elected chief resident at Baylor during his residency training and again in his fellowship year. He was also elected as the ambassador of his program by the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. Dr. Qureshi also served as an adjunct clinical instructor at the renowned Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine. Dr. Qureshi has published and has been the lead researcher of multiple studies during his academic career.

Dr. Qureshi serves as a member of the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, American Society of Interventional Pain Physicians, North American Neuromodulation Society, and the World Academy of Pain Medicine.
