Jerome Carter

MD

Jerome Carter, MD, is a board-certified physician specializing in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. Dr. Carter earned his medical degree in 2001 at the University of Alabama School of Medicine and completed his surgical internship at Lyndon B. Johnson Hospital in Houston. He has over 22 years of medical experience while serving the greater Houston area.

Dr. Carter provides the latest conservative alternatives to pain and dysfunction with his focus on creating individualized treatment plans while avoiding invasive surgical interventions. Dr. Carter seeks hybrid style therapies, which combine innovative with traditional treatments to help patients lessen their pain. What sets Dr. Carter apart from other providers is his drive to let patients know they’re heard, cared for, and informed about their pain or treatment options.

When Dr. Carter is not treating patients, his passion to serve shifts to education. He is an assistant clinical professor in the Department of Anesthesiology at the University of Texas medical branch in Galveston, Texas. He also began the Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Program at the combined University of Texas/Baylor University Program.
